How the transparency works

The promise is not a single number that goes up. It is that you can see how a strategy arrives at its value, and where that value is soft.

Three value layers, always kept apart

Reported NAV
What the strategy says it is worth from its own marks. The headline figure, and the one that can be most optimistic.
Liquid NAV
What could actually be sold right now at fair depth. Lower than Reported when positions are thin or a market is closed.
Redeemable NAV
What a backer could get back after settlement. Only meaningful from wind-down onward; blank until then, never guessed.

Every number carries its receipts

Financial figures show their period, an as-of time, the data source, and how much of the book they cover. A stale price, a paused oracle, a closed market, or thin coverage is labeled, not hidden. A drawdown is shown next to a return, so a headline can never stand alone.

Finality is shown in stages

Robinhood Chain settles in steps: Submitted, then Confirmed on Robinhood Chain, then Secured on Ethereum. A single green check is never enough. In the paper season these stages are labeled as simulated, because no real transaction has happened yet.

The rules a manager runs under

Each strategy declares a risk policy. These are the limits the policy is designed to enforce. Today they live in the draft and are shown on every strategy; the contract that would enforce them onchain is not deployed yet.

  • ·A maximum weight for any single position, so no one holding can dominate the book.
  • ·A maximum size for any single trade, and a daily turnover ceiling.
  • ·A slippage limit and a minimum market-depth floor, so trades cannot be pushed through thin markets.
  • ·Trading with the manager's own related wallets is blocked.
  • ·The manager can never withdraw fund assets to a personal address.

Paper, Testnet, and Live

Every surface carries a persistent environment badge, and the three never blur into each other.

Paper

Season 0. Track records and competition, computed from paper fixtures. No user funds, no real transactions.

Testnet

Arrives with the read-only Robinhood Chain layer. Real chain reads, still no user funds. Empty until it exists, never filled with paper data.

Live

Real capital, after legal and security sign-off. A card is only Live when every displayed field comes from a verified live source.

  • ·The onchain vault and the policy engine that would enforce the rules above. Today they are drafted, not deployed.
  • ·Performance fees, platform fees, and referral splits. Defined in a draft, collected nowhere.
  • ·The manager bond. A planned commitment, not posted.

Season 0 will seat 12 Genesis Managers who run public paper strategies on Robinhood Chain. Every position, trade, return, and drawdown is visible; performance is measured, not claimed. Applications are open, and read-only Robinhood Chain support arrives next.
